As a language, art speaks to the eye, the mind, and the heart. When we need to communicate on all levels at once, we turn to an artist. In my creative journey I am a student of this language of art, learning to express ideas that are perhaps best shared visually– ideas that words alone cannot convey. As I become more fluent in this language, I hope to use its powers more interestingly and beautifully, both for others and for myself.
