Squire House Gardens Hosts 20th Annual Valentine’s Concert with Musical Guests Justin Spenner and Kelly Turpin

Squire House Gardens announces its annual Valentine’s Concert scheduled for Saturday, February 11th, 2017 with seatings at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Guests will relax in a cozy Victorian parlor room, and enjoy an evening of delightful art song, 20th Century classics, poetic readings, romantic musings, as well as complimentary refreshments.

“Our signature Valentine’s music event is in its 20th year and a much loved  tradition for many of our longtime customers,” said Martin Stern, owner of Squire House Gardens. “My personal passion for outstanding vocal art in Minnesota has led me to discover and welcome the very talented singing duet ‘From Justin to Kelly,’ to our stage.”

Justin Spenner and Kelly Turpin are professional opera singers based in Minneapolis, MN. Since meeting quite literally on stage at the Minnesota Opera, they have explored each other’s musical flexibility in the genres of Art Song, Aria, Cabaret, Jazz, and Country.

Squire House Gardens is located at 3390 St. Croix Trail South in an 1870 historic home in the heart of the village of Afton, MN. To visit, go east of the Twin Cities on I-94 to Exit 258 and south 4.7 miles. Winter Gift Shop Hours, beginning January 19, are Thursday to Saturday 11 to 5, and Sundays 12 to 5.
