The moon in this picture will block part of the sun on April 8.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to connect with our solar system!
Look through a telescope with a solar filter (and use our solar glasses) to watch the moon pass in front of the sun. Wrap your head around what an eclipse really is as you ponder the wonders of the universe.
The eclipse starts at 12:50 p.m. and ends at 3:14 p.m. The maximum eclipse (about 80%) occurs at 2:03 p.m. Drop by this station at the Trail Center anytime between 1 and 3. Hope for no clouds!
