Learn the science behind and the benefits of home composting, including information on different composting methods, recommended compostable materials, and common uses of compost around the yard and garden.
Composting not only reduces the amount of trash in landfills, but also can save money on soil for your yard, garden, or flower beds. U of M Extension Master Gardener volunteers are eager to share research-based gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives with the people in their community.
