Earth Day at Franconia!

Franconia Sculpture Park is located on 50 acres in East Central Minnesota, along the Saint Croix River Valley. Minnesota is uniquely positioned at the intersection of four distinct biomes: Tallgrass Aspen Parkland in the far northeast, Prairie Grassland to the west, Coniferous Forest to the north, and Deciduous Forest to the south.

It’s a significant effort to keep the grounds beautiful for the public, but this is where YOU can help! This year, to celebrate Earth Day, Franconia Sculpture Park is hosting a volunteer event featuring a variety of activities for all skill sets. Types of projects include; sculpture repair, weeding and spreading trap rock.

Lunch and drink will be provided for volunteers in addition to a guided tour of the park! 

Please remember to dress appropriately for this event, volunteers will be outdoors for the majority of the day. Tools will be provided as needed, but feel free to bring your own work gloves if desired.
