Richard R. Roach, MD, has spent years canoeing the Boundary Waters and Quetico Provincial Park and studying First Nation culture. His fiction works include Saving Skunk and Releasing Lisa. Currently Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at Western Michigan University School of Medicine, Dr. Roach and his wife reside in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
