Luis Alberto Urrea, author of Into the Beautiful North, will talk with Krista Tippett, host of On Being the Peabody Award Winning radio broadcast and podcast. The audience will be invited to ask questions during the second half of the program. An Evening with Luis Alberto Urrea is presented by ArtReach St. Croix, Stillwater Public Library, Stillwater Public Library Foundation and Valley Bookseller.

Lobby opens at 6pm featuring La Luchadora, a mobile screen printing cart with performance artist and scholar Jessica Lopez Lyman, PhD. La Luchadora is inspired by a paleta cart, a nostalgic symbol of childhood. Mexican/Chicanx vendors push the carts around neighborhoods selling popsicles. Attendees will be treated to a screen-printed keepsake poster on their way out.
