This film follows fishing guide Hawkins on a 30-day float down the Yellowstone River. Intimate portraits of locals in both booming cities and dusty, dwindling towns along the Yellowstone River, illustrate the history and controversies surrounding this enigmatic watershed leading to questions about its future. Connect with colorful characters, get lost in the hypnotic cast of a fly rod, and experience silhouetted moments of fireside stories on this heartfelt river adventure.

Robert Hawkins is a fourth generation Montanan and a fishing guide with 15 years of experience in Montana and Alaska. He now owns and operates Bob Mitchell’s Fly Shop in Lake Elmo. Hawkins will talk and take questions about the film, the trip, and the river after the showing.

There will be a cash bar and plenty of time to socialize. Deadline for advance tickets is May 5, 2015.
