Art & Artists Celebration

Art & Artists Celebration

Presented by Franconia Sculpture Park at Franconia Sculpture Park

Is there a better way to celebrate an exhibition full of new ambitious sculptures made by truly dedicated artists than to throw a creative & fun-filled festival?! In true Franconia fashion, there will be live music, family art making activities, guided tours of new work, delicious food & beverages, and more. Parking is $5 per car.

Franconia Sculpture Park’s 2017 Art and Artists Celebration, is a full-day family arts programs. This program invites the regional community to experience art and music through a multi-faceted program of hands-on art-making activities, free guided exhibition tours featuring over 40 new sculptures created by Franconia’s 2017 artists, as well as musical performances by Malamanya, Hobo Nephews of Uncle Frank featuring Ryan Young of Trampled By Turtles and more!

The hard work of Franconia’s current artists pays off when festival time rolls around, as it serves as the official opening reception for all the new sculptures created in 2017.  Here you will experience raw creativity over Franconia’s 43-acre landscape. From iron castings poured on site with the public looking on, to monumental works 30 feet tall, to earth installations and performance art—the combination of a relaxing atmosphere and dynamic art, not to mention unlimited photo ops, makes for a truly enjoyable day.

The Franconia Art and Artists Celebration is the perfect destination on a beautiful fall day in the St. Croix River Valley.
