Imaginary Lands Cartography (Map Making) for ages 9-12

Presented by Stillwater Public Library at Stillwater Public Library

Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Saturday, July 8 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm for Imaginary Lands Cartography (Map Making) for ages 9-12. Many books are written about imaginary lands filled with mythical creatures.  We will learn to draw our own map of an imaginary land, adding cartography details with fine-point marker.  Color will be added to enhance the maps with both watercolor and colored pencil.

Program is free, but registration required. This program is funded in part with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage (Legacy) Fund. Presenter: White Bear Center for the Arts. To register, call 651-275-4338 ext.111, stop by the Public Services Desk, or visit our website at www.stillwaterlibrary.org.
