50th Anniversary Celebration of Somerset Public Library featuring Stan Tekiela

Somerset Public Library is thrilled to announce a special event commemorating its 50th anniversary of dedicated service to the community. As part of the celebration, renowned naturalist, author, and wildlife photographer Stan Tekiela will be speaking at Somerset Library.

Tekiela will captivate audiences with his presentation on Wisconsin wildflowers, offering insight into the rich biodiversity of the region and sharing his stunning photography.

Prior to the presentation, starting at 5:45 PM, guests are invited to join in a cake and lemonade social hour, providing a delightful opportunity for mingling and celebration.

This event marks the beginning of Somerset Library’s 50th-anniversary celebration week, which kicks off on April 22. As part of the festivities, Somerset Library is proud to unveil limited-edition library cards, complete with sticker sets to adorn the library card.

This offer is extended to all residents of Wisconsin, who can obtain a library card free of charge by presenting proof of address in person at Somerset Library. Current cardholders are also invited to receive a free limited-edition library card.
