Earth Fest is a free community celebration of the past, present, and future sustainability efforts in River Falls and the surrounding area. Earth Fest 2024 will be held on Saturday, April 20, from 12-4 pm at the UW-River Falls University Center. Free shuttle transportation will be available from several River Falls locations in collaboration with the River Falls Bluegrass Festival.
Paul Douglas is a meteorologist with 45 years of television and radio experience. Douglas writes a daily Minneapolis Star Tribune weather column and has weather duties on WCCO Radio. Douglas has authored four books, including his most recent , “A Kid’s Guide to Saving the Planet.” As a religious conservative who began as a climate change skeptic, Douglas is now viewing climate change as undeniable and believes that caring for our planet is a moral and spiritual obligation.
