Join Tropical Wings at the Carpenter Nature Center Wisconsin Campus Al & Laurie Hein Visitor Center for a morning of birding and habitat education. Tropical Wings Board Member and Wisconsin Breeding Bird Atlas researched Brian Collins will lead a bird hike for all ages from 7:30 – 9:00am. Refreshments will be available at the visitor center after the hike. A roundtable discussion about habitat restoration projects made possible by the Tropical Wings Habitat Grant Program will be moderated by Tropical Wings President Patty Mueller from 9:30 – 11:00am. From 11:00am – Noon, explore the Al & Laurie Hein Visitor Center, enjoy additional refreshments, and network with Tropical Wings Board Members and fellow bird enthusiasts. This event is free, but donations to benefit bird education and habitat restoration are appreciated.
