All high school-age students from western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota were invited to submit one recent original art work in any media for our annual student exhibition. In addition, art teachers for the participating students were also invited to submit one piece of artwork for display in the Riverview Gallery.

The Phipps is pleased to announce the 16th year of a partnership with Andersen Corporation to offer the Alice M. Stolpe Scholarship for the Arts to a senior who participates in the exhibition.  Andersen Corporation makes this annual scholarship in recognition of Stolpe, a regional artist who supported the corporation’s community art program for more then three decades.

Closing Reception for participating artists and their families: Sunday, May 7 | 1:30 to 3:00 p.m.

Join us for a brief program at 2:00 p.m. Student awards will be announced at this time and the judge will be on hand to discuss his/her decisions with the artists.  The winner of the Alice M. Stolpe Scholarship for the Arts also will be announced.
