Join us in celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the groundbreaking of the Washington County Historic Courthouse and the 100th anniversary of the Soldiers and Sailors Civil War Monument on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Bring a blanket and picnic on the grounds with hot dogs, apple pie, and live music! This will be a fun-filled event with living history re-enactors in Civil War era replica dress and interactive demos, cannon fire, mini donkey wagon rides for the kids, old-time photos, vendor booths, time capsule dedication, Civil War exhibit grand opening, a community group photo and more!!
