Join Charlotte Schuld for a discussion about her work, process and inspiration.
Schuld began painting trees because of their beauty and the enjoyment they have brought to her over the years. However, after reading The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben and following New England Forests posts by Dr. Tom Wessels, she was inspired by the ancient and profound importance of trees beyond their beauty. Her work – both paintings and three-dimensional – reflects on the many essential roles tree play in our environment
Charlotte’s work is part of Birds, Trees, River – considerations of the environment on view at ArtReach St. Croix Galleries May 19 – June 25.
