Birding By Sound Paddle

Birding By Sound Paddle

Presented by Wild Rivers Conservancy at Riverside Landing

Join the Wild Rivers Conservancy Naturalist Amy for a day on the Namekagon and St. Croix Rivers listening and looking for spring migrants making their way north. We’ll search the skies, riparian zone, and waters for red-winged blackbirds, yellow-rumped warblers, northern flickers, and more. This fully supported paddle will provide an educational aspect to bird identification by sound.

You will be provided with a kayak, paddle, and PFD, as well as a shuttle service from your cars to the initial canoe/kayak landing.
