Presenters from around the watershed will virtually read a poem, show us a painting, read an essay, perform a piece of music or a play that celebrates the culture, history, or natural beauty of the St. Croix River Watershed.
Join us on January 25, from 5pm-6pm CST, for our very first open-mic event moderated by Thomas Wayne King, noted professor, writer, musician and Icelandic shepherd from Solon Springs. Up to 10 presenters will read a poem, show us a painting, read an essay, perform a piece of music or a play, or whatever else they’ve created that celebrates the culture, history, or natural beauty of the St. Croix River Watershed. Grab your beverage of choice, get settled in your chair, and be prepared for the magical tales that Thomas and his guests will spin. Register to attend here: https://forms.gle/GFuAe8vY9CFNfpEf9
If you’d like to be a presenter at an open-mic event, send us an e-mail with a couple of sentences each about you and what you’d like to present.
