To add to the fun of Hockey Day Minnesota, hosted by Stillwater, MN, on Saturday, January 21, 2017, the Washington County Historic Courthouse has curated its first ever Hockey Exhibit! The public is invited to this free vault exhibit to take in the history of the sport and the passion it ignites in the Great State of Hockey! Reminisce over your favorite local talent, who made it from the backyard pond to the big show (the National Hockey League). The exhibit will highlight local teams and their artifacts including the Stillwater Ponies, Minnesota Gophers, Minnesota North Stars and the Minnesota Wild and even include a pair of signed hockey gloves from the 1980 US Olympic Team  . On display will be vintage jerseys, twigs (hockey sticks made of wood), skates, scorebooks, photos, and more! The exhibit will be open Friday, Jan 20, 2017, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, Jan 21 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. the Washington County Historic Courthouse.
