Join us on Saturday, February 11 from 1:00 – 2:30 pm for Georgia O’Keeffe BIG Flower Drawings with White Bear Center for the Arts. Georigia O’Keeffe was an American artist who is best known for her large-scale paintings of flowers. She painted flowers from a very close-up perspective which had not been done by any other artist. We will learn how to draw BIG, cropping the image of the flower so it goes off the page. We will then add lots of beautiful, blended color by “painting with our fingers” with chalk pastels.
