St. Basil's Cathedral Watercolor Resist with WBCA

St. Basil's Cathedral Watercolor Resist with WBCA

Presented by Stillwater Public Library at Stillwater Public Library

For children ages 6-10, explore your creativity at an art class led by White Bear Center for the Arts on Saturday, January 14 from 1:00 -2:30 pm.  St. Basil’s Cathedral in Moscow, Russia is one of the most iconic architectural structures in the world. We will have fun drawing our own version of a building with onion domes and lots of playful patterns. We will add color with metallic crayons in selected areas on the structure and maybe even add some snowflakes. Then we will add a colorful watercolor wash and see the resulting wax resist. The program is free and funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (Legacy).  Registration is required.

To register for the St. Basil’s Cathedral class or learn about other library events, call 651-275-4338 ext. 111, stop by the Public Services Desk or visit our website at www.stillwaterlibrary.org.
