Treat your mother to an afternoon of wildflowers and river views. Stroll a loop one-mile loop along a gently sloping section of the River Trail. A state park naturalist will lead the way and point out beautiful blooms that might otherwise be overlooked. Wear sturdy shoes and bring a camera. Meet at the park office (campground entrance of the park). 

A hike for those who are feeling a little more adventurous will also be offered at 11 AM this day. Wind up the stairs and switchbacks of the Sandstone Bluffs Trail on a one-mile hike. Expect numerous wooden stairs and uneven terrain for this hike. Meet at the park office.
