We will cover picking and preparation, how to add yeast, what to look for during the fermentation process, and low-tech bottling methods.
No special equipment is needed for this beginner-level class on brewing wine with spring flowers. But an adventurous attitude is a must! Class materials will focus on dandelion wine, but this process can be repeated with the blossoms of red clover, linden, lilac, or elderflower. After covering the basics we will talk about experimenting with variations, and discuss a few pieces of equipment that, while not necessary, can make the process easier or yield tastier results.
