Mikah, a singer, speaker, travel journalist and LGBTQ rights advocate, is completing a 210-mile, 38-day “Run Across Minnesota” to promote diversity and inclusion in the outdoors through his “Outdoor Safe Space” project. His route is following the highways and back roads of southwestern Minnesota, the historic Luce Line Trail and includes a stretch of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon course before reaching its conclusion at the Wisconsin border in Stillwater on October 11 at 5pm. ~ Twin Cities in Motion, The Connection Runners Enewsletter

The #RunAcrossMN is launching the “Outside Safe Space” program that helps LGBTQ+ people feel welcome in rural/outdoor areas traditionally less-friendly than urban spaces.
