Week long camp beginning every day at 9 A.M. and lasting until 4 P.M. for children ages 11 to 15. Get hands-on experience learning about urban and rural ecosystems using field research techniques such as bird banding, prairie restoration, sustainable agriculture, and wildlife monitoring. Take field trips to see bison in the prairie, catch invertebrates in the Kinnickinnic River, and visit the Science Museum of Minnesota and urban gardens. This new summer camp experience is made possible through a USDA-NIFA funded grant and partnerships with the Universtiy of Wisconsin – River Falls and the Science Museum of Minnesota.
