Join us on Monday, June 20 for multi-media art class “Tiger in a Tropical Forest” with White Bear Center for the Arts for children in grades K-2. Henri Rousseau was a French artist who did not become an artist until middle age. He was mocked for his flat style of painting but through perseverance he achieved success. We will make two line drawings inspired by one of his paintings which we will color and combine into a layered collage with colorful texture.
This program made possible by funds from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Legacy Amendment.
