An art exhibit featuring recent works of art that have emerged from artists during the current pandemic.
Being sequestered during the past two months has allowed us all to become more introspective. The seriousness of this experience has brought many changes to us, including new perspectives, as the world changes around us in ways we never dreamed of.
As reflected through the art created during this time, “New Perspectives – Same Place” allows the viewer to see the thoughts and ideas that have emerged from artists – on canvas, captured by camera, in carvings and sculpture, in pieces of work on lathes, and woven in fabrics. Written expressions that accompany each piece will further elucidate the thoughts of the artist during their creation process.
This one month show begins June 27th and can be seen in person at the Art Guild Gallery, as well as virtually on our Website, Facebook and Instagram. There will be no reception.
