Invite Them In: Backyard Landscape for Pollinators (Virtual)

Presented by Stillwater Public Library and Pollinator Friendly Alliance at Stillwater Public Library

Join us for Invite Them In: Backyard Landscape for Pollinators, a Stillwater Public Library program hosted via an online Zoom meeting on Saturday, May 16 at 10:30 a.m.  Learn about pollinator-friendly gardening with Laurie Schneider, Executive Director of the Pollinator Friendly Alliance. Pollinators are essential for ecosystems and food systems. Just like us, pollinators need a nutritious diet and healthy places to nest and raise their young. A healthy backyard ecosystem supports soil and plant health for natural control of pests and disease. A landscape rich with a diversity of flowering plants is both beautiful and supports thousands of species of bees, butterflies, hummingbirds, and other pollinators.

This program is presented by Pollinator Friendly Alliance, a grassroots conservation organization concerned about the steep decline of pollinators.

Program is free, but registration is required. Register online at https://washcolib.libcal.com/event/6454207. An email will be sent after registration with the Zoom meeting details, including instructions on how to get started if you are new to Zoom.
