Joanna Eckles, Curator of Birds at University of Minnesota’s The Raptor Center, will open your eyes to the amazing birds around us, some of the challenges they face, and what each of us can do to make their lives, and ours, a little brighter. Depending on what April brings, we will explore birds and birding outside nearby or within the comfort of the library.

Joanna is a graduate of Cornell University (BS) and the University of Minnesota (MS), she has worked with or on behalf of birds in the field, in the laboratory, at the Minnesota Zoo, for the international non-profit The World Parrot Trust and for Audubon before turning her focus to raptors. She welcomes any opportunity to share her passion for birds and nature.

Class is for adults. No registration required.
