Start your New Year off right with walk in the woods in a special place!
Join the St. Croix River Association and Standing Cedars Community Land Conservancy for a first day hike! We will enjoy a brisk walk to work off the holiday calories, with some stops during our hike to enjoy the scenery and some interpretation of the landscape on the beautiful Standing Cedars property. SCRA has a limited number of snowshoes that could be used, but must be requested ahead of time.
If this event is canceled due to inclement weather, we will post a notification on SCRA’s Facebook page and we will do our best to contact registered participants. In the event that there is no snow, this event becomes a winter walk.
Gear list:
– Snowshoes (unless borrowing from SCRA)
– Hiking/ski poles (optional)
– Dress for the weather in layers, hat, gloves, scarves, warm socks and boots
– Water bottle and trail snacks (optional)
