Handel’s Messiah

Presented by The Phipps Center for the Arts at Bethel Lutheran Church

The Phipps Choral Society, in collaboration with Bethel Lutheran Church, Hudson, and Skip James, Bethel Director of Music, will present Handel’s Messiah on Palm Sunday. The performing forces will include chamber orchestra, Choral Society chorus, and professional soloists Angela Grundstad, soprano; Margaret Jane Wray, alto; Aaron Humble, tenor; and James Bohn, bass.

This masterpiece, a commentary on Christ’s nativity, passion, resurrection, and ascension by George Frideric Handel, first performed in the spring of 1742, has become one of the world’s most beloved musical works.

Admission Info

General admission tickets are $24 for adults and $12 for students of any age.
