Join us for a special event at William O’Brien State Park where you’ll learn to identify and survey our fascinating native pollinators! No experience needed.
Friends of Scandia Parks & Trails and the MN DNR are partnering to teach you how to do a simple pollinator survey. Native pollinators are vital for many of the fruits and vegetables we eat, and the wildflowers we enjoy. Their numbers have been declining in recent years, and more information is needed to understand what is happening. You can help!
Ages 10+ welcome. Please register early as space is limited. Email Sean.Hoppes@state.mn.us or call 651-539-4986. Meet at the Visitor Center.
