Stillwater Area Public Schools’ Native American Parent Advisory Committee sponsors monthly events at the Stillwater Public Library, Margaret Rivers Room, for families interested in learning about Native American culture and heritage. Join us on the day of love as we celebrate our love for the Native culture! For this month’s free family event, we welcome Sharon Lennartson, Chairwoman of the Mendota Mdewakanton Tribal Community. Sharon will share with us the history of her community and speak to the importance of Pow Wows and preserving the Dakota Language. We are very excited to welcome her!
