Presented by New Richmond Community Education at New Richmond Community Commons

The Pottery place is a ceramics studio conveniently located in the Community Commons Building. The studio is equipped with 4 electric pottery wheels, Leach Treadle Wheel, 5 Thomas Stuart Kick Wheels, Klopfenstein stand up treadle wheel,  North star clay extruder with multiple dies, various hand building tools, an electric kiln, ample drying shelves, and basic throwing tools, mid- fire range clay, engobes, stains and mid-fire Glazes.

Adults (16 and older) who already know how to throw pots and are looking for a convenient and affordable studio to work in clay can purchase a punch card for $60.  Punch card holders can access studio 10 times during open studio times or as arranged with the Community Commons.  A studio orientation is required before beginning work in the studio and should be planned on Monday evenings or by appointment with Studio Manager.

Punch Cards are issued for the periods: January 5 –June 18
(Clay $25 per 25 lb. Bag and includes the firing/glazing costs)
Single visit pricing $20.00 (Includes #5 lbs of clay along with firing/glazing costs)
