Enjoy a delicious 5-course tea catered by Scheel’s Catering and learn about the history of tea in the beautiful setting of the historic courtroom at the Washington County Historic Courthouse.

Tea-ology: Facts, Stories & Traditions

What is tea? What are the types of tea? Where is it from? Learn the answers to these questions and enjoy fun historical facts and stories surrounding tea with guest speaker, professional chef and tea expert Joy Sorich of Cup of Joy.

Arrive early or stay late to shop beautiful quilted items by the Courthouse Quilters and premium organic loose leaf teas by Cup of Joy. Tour the exhibits and 1900’s county jail or peruse the displays of the Historic Courthouse China Collection in the courtroom. Seating for the event begins at 11:30 a.m.

This event always sells out, be sure to make your reservation soon!

All proceeds benefit the Historic Courthouse Restoration Fund. Enjoy a scrumptious tea while helping to preserve this historic landmark! A portion of the quilt and tea sales will also benefit the Restoration Fund.
