View the lovely paintings and digital artwork of talented local artist Ted Horn at the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center at Freedom Park. Art exhibit is on display during regular business hours (Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 12 noon to 5 pm) through December 19, 2015.  As an added benefit at the same time, the talented Friends of Freedom Park Volunteers will offer an array of handmade gift items (from gift cards to jewelry to pottery and more) for purchase just in time for Halloween and the upcoming holiday season.

From Ted’s Artist Statement: “As an Artist I am always trying to capture the moment in time when the sensational colors of a sunset cannot be described in words. Or the antics of a child bring a smile to your face and a warm glow inside. To capture the image of a sailboat as it glides through the water by an unseen force. I hope for those who see my artwork, feel what I am trying to capture on canvas. The silence, of the wind as it propels the sailboat, the serene sound of water that laps upon the shore, the fragrance of a flower in a garden, or to be drawn into the peaceful images I create.”
