Rarely is the Commander grain elevator open to the public, but as part of “McGuire’s Natural Habitat” people will be invited in for a self-guided tour of Michael McGuire’s studio. “McGuire’s Natural Habitat” is an exhibition of work at ArtReach St. Croix’s galleries reflecting the passions and preoccupations of Stillwater artist and architect Michael McGuire. Along with a selection of paintings from McGuire’s more than sixty years as a practicing artist, ArtReach will be showcasing the fiber arts of Morgan Clifford and the sculptural pottery of Tim Crane. Collections of pottery and textiles are prominent features in McGuire’s home and studio. The exhibition is onview October 1st through November 7th.
Other events surrounding this exhibition include a closing reception on Saturday, November 7th from 2-4pm at the galleries.
