Join us for an art reception for Hastings artist Beth Bacon! Her paintings will be on display at the Great River Road Visitor & Learning Center from Sept 1^st through Oct 10^th. Come to this reception to meet the painter herself and to hear the stories behind the paintings! Free event. Refreshments will be served.

Bacon: “I paint the world as I see it, full of bold colors, joyous noise, bright flowers and breathtaking colors. Trees dance in the wind and stems bow in the breeze. I believe that all colors are in the world, we are only limited by what we feel we see – and try to show more in my paintings. I am self-taught, or perhaps self-allowed, to use the mediums I choose. I love oil for the texture, smell, and feel it brings to life on a canvas. I paint at my home in Hastings MN and find inspiration on my daily walks, drives, and adventures.”
