Don Karsky facilitates this workshop with a passion for playing, as well as teaching. Don’s experience with drumming, sharing stories and techniques puts you at ease and helps to provide a comfortable and supportive environment for learning. 

From beginner to advanced, this workshop will have something for everyone!

The format for the 2015 Drum Workshops will be:

• 10 – 10:30 am: A Guest Spotlight Series – A guest drum teacher will share their drumming experience.
• 10:30 – 11:00 am: Learning technique and patterns.
• 11:00 – 11:30 am: FREESTYLE – Use your newly acquired skills to join the magic of in the moment rhythms. Now is a good time to dance, as well, if the Spirit of the Drum moves you.

Don will also have drums available to use for the class as well as available for purchase. His unique creations are Drum Artwork in itself.
