Using the Tarot deck, we will allow its images, symbols, archetypes and meanings to spark, stimulate, direct, and further our writing. Prose and poetry writers are welcome, just bring a desire to play, experiment, and most importantly to write. Bring a deck if you have one, or use one of the many I will bring, and writing tools (paper and pen is most reliable of course, but a tablet or laptop is fine but do not plan to plug in, if the weather is good, we will be outside at least part of the time.
Nell Morningstar Ubbelohde has studied Tarot for 45 years, and she has taught and read Tarot professionally for almost 40 years. She is constantly amazed that there is more to learn from this rich depository of mystery. She has an MFA in Writing from Hamline and teaches writing (including creative writing) throughout the Twin Cities community.
