A typical Gemini, Mary Beth’s (MB’s) interests—and approach to art—are always evolving, and that evolution is reflected in her creative endeavors.

A true “multi-media” artist, I love experimenting with different techniques and textures to create unique pieces. Unlike some artists whose work bears an indelible stamp of their personal aesthetic, my pieces appear to have little in common with each other. However, I learn something new with each one, and each subsequent project builds upon the one(s) that came before.

My biggest challenge as an artist is overcoming my self-critical nature and being disciplined enough to continue working on something, even when it’s not evolving the way I had envisioned. By doing so, I hope to someday perfect my own “artistic style”…whatever that may be!
