Arkansas artis, Barbara Val Dell Robinson, a native Minnesotan, was born with natural artistic talent, which has developed and matured over many years. Barbara graduated with a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in studio arts. intending to be an art therapist, she soon realized that her love for making art was stronger than her desire to evaluate it. This natural talent was enhanced by numerous workshops, seminars and self-study. She moved to Eureka Springs, Arkansas in 1998 to continue the progression of her art career. For several years Barbara traveled to art shows throughout the country showing her work while also exhibiting at several galleries in the Eureka Springs area. She then had her own successful gallery space at the Art Colony in Eureka Springs and opened the Eureka Fina Art Gallery with seven prominent local artists in 2013. In 2018, Barbara moved to Mel Shipley’s signature gallery at 85 Spring Street in Eureka Springs. In November 2020 she moved to Lindstrom, MN, to be closer to her family. Among her most notable achievements were a solo exhibit at the Vada Sheid gallery at Arkansas State University, Mountain Home, Arkansas, a solo exhibit at the Arts Center of the Ozarks, Springdale, Arkansas, and a featured artist in a juried group exhibition at the Crystal Bridges American Art Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas.
