The Minnesota Transportation Museum is an up and coming museum located in the historic Jackson Street Roundhouse (originally built in 1907 by James J. Hill as a train maintenance facility) right outside of downtown St. Paul. The building has recently been restored and is now a fully functioning train restoration shop and family-friendly museum.
