Winter Seed Sowing

Winter sowing is a technique for planting seeds outdoors in winter to give them a head start in spring. If you are a gardener in colder climates who find themselves restless in the long winter months, winter seed sowing might be for you. Join us to learn how to get a jump on the growing season and start cold tolerant seeds while the snow is still falling. U of M Extension Master Gardener volunteers are eager to share research-based gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives with the people in their community.

After registration, an email link to join this presentation through Zoom will be emailed to you as well as a handout that we will be using in the class. Please plan to connect to the Zoom meeting 5-10 minutes early to troubleshoot the technology and get settled in before class starts.
