Sweetheart XC Night Ski, Hike at Lake Elmo Park Reserve

Washington County Parks invites visitors to explore a variety of recreation opportunities at Lake Elmo Park Reserve’s Nordic Center. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the Nordic Center.  Inside, guests may warm up fireside in the great room and sample free coffee, cocoa, and cookies and hear live music by the Chris and Jack Duo, who will play from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

From the Nordic Center Trailhead, cross-country ski 5.5 miles of LED-lit ski trails. From the Eagle Point Trailhead, snowshoe, hike or walk your leashed dog along the illuminated 2.5-mile Big Bluestem Trail.

An outdoor bonfire will be lit and roasting sticks will be available for use; guests may bring their own treats to roast. Amenities at the Nordic Center include restrooms, men’s and women’s lockers and changing areas, drinking water station, and free guest WiFi.
