Join us at the Stillwater Public Library on Thursday, April 26 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm for Smartphone Basics and Security. Mobile devices are a serious investment as well as a storehouse of personal data and online activity, so they’ve become an essential part of our lives, but also targets of hackers and thieves. You have options for providing better smartphone security. Learn which basic security settings are right for you and how to configure them. Topics include PINs and password managers, apps and backups, WiFi and VPNs, remote wipe, encryption, and smartphone scams. Whether you use an iPhone or Android, make sure your smartphone is safe.
