Pop Up Musical

This 2012 Fringe Festival favorite has been seen in venues around the Twin Cities, and is now on its way across the border to Hudson!  Pop Up Musical is a fresh, fun new musical revue that audiences call a “fast-paced and hilarious” evening with “lots of laughter and great music.” It features four vocalists who’ll take you on a high-energy tour of some of Broadway’s biggest hits, interspersed with informative “pop ups” throughout each number.

As Jennifer Eckes, Judi Gronseth (from Nunsensations! The Nunsense Vegas Revue at St. Croix Off Broadway), Kevin Werner Hohlstein, and Timm Holmly (previously seen at St. Croix Off Broadway in Pump Boys and Dinettes) deliver the songs with dramatic and vocal power, the audience will read facts, trivia, random commentary, and general amusements as presented on video screens and charming hand-held posters! You’ll hear gems like “Luck Be a Lady,” “Edelweiss,” “Seasons of Love” and more! Fans of musical theatre will love the new twist on their old favorites. Even those who believe musicals are cheesy or (gasp!) irritating will be entertained through the quality music and lighthearted nature of the pop ups.
