Plein Air Painting Demonstration and Talk with Kami Mendlik

The St. Croix River becomes both inspiration and art studio as accomplished painter Kami Mendlik demonstrates plein air painting along its shores. Join Kami at 9 a.m. for a demonstration and talk as she shares how passion for the river drives her art.

Painter and instructor, Kami Mendlik founded the St Croix River School of Painting and has spent most of her life along the banks of the St. Croix studying its constant: the ever changing. Meet near the picnic area boat landing (campground entrance of the park). The program will be canceled in the event of heavy rain. June 10 is National Get Outdoors Day and parking fees are waived for the day.
