Plein Air Hudson

SEASONS is hosting the second annual “Plein Air Hudson” event, featuring 22 regional artists who will each create three paintings in three days. En Plein Air is a French expression which means “in the open air” and is particularly used to describe the act of painting outdoors. 

You will see artists busily working throughout the community on August 14 – 16.  Feel free to visit, chat, and learn from the artists about their technique and process…maybe even give them some hints as to where to paint in our beautiful community.

The paintings will be hung in the gallery on Monday, August 17. Join us to celebrate the artists and their work at the Opening Reception/Awards Ceremony from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. This years judge is well-known artist and teacher, Derek Davis. The evening will be filled with food, refreshments, music and artful conversation. You will even have an opportunity to vote and determine the “People’s Choice Award.” The work will be available for purchase.
