Native American Drumming and Singing with Julian Kitto

Participate in a fun afternoon of traditional Native American drumming and singing! This month’s Stillwater NAPAC Family Event features Julian Kitto, a NA drummer, singer and dancer, Fond-du-Lac Reservation. Julian’s tribal affiliation is Flandreau Santee Sioux and Red Lake Ojibwe. The historical and cultural significance of the drum to indigenous people is tremendous. Singing and drumming have been part of every important event or happening for thousands of years. To Julian, this is not just something to do–it is his way of life. Stillwater NAPAC’s monthly Family Presentations are FREE and open to anyone who is interested in learning more about Native American history and culture.
